Keyser Marston Associates, Inc. has one of the largest real estate advisory practices on the West Coast. We specialize in structuring public-private partnerships and in designing effective development policies and strategies. Founded in 1973, Keyser Marston serves a diverse client base throughout the West, including nearly every major municipality in California, as well as ports, transit agencies, base closure authorities, county and special districts, school districts, colleges and universities, hospitals, Indian tribes and large property owners. Keyser Marston is a privately held corporation whose shareholders are all principals of the firm. Keyser Marston presently has 45 professional staff persons located at offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego.

History
Since its founding on 1973, Keyser Marston has been integral to the success of many key public-private developments in the West including Horton Plaza and the Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego, the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, Old Pasadena and Staples Arena in Los Angeles, the University of California at Davis, and the Ferry Building in San Francisco. Keyser Marston is proud to have provided real estate advisory services on not only big name projects, but numerous smaller developments as well. Keyser Marston continues to bring clear insight to clients as they navigate complex development issues, and we look forward to expanding our services to assist future clients.

Keyser Marston’s principals are frequent speakers to such industry groups as the Urban Land Institute, International Council of Shopping Centers, League of Cities, California Community Redevelopment Association and other similar organizations. Keyser Marston’s principals have served on the Governor’s Task Force on Military Base Reuse and have advised both the California Legislature’s Committee on Economic Development and the California Redevelopment Association (CRA).
