Local Inclusionary Housing Programs

KMA has an extensive and distinguished track record in assisting jurisdictions with 1) establishing and updating inclusionary housing programs, including developing appropriate and effective onsite requirements, and in-lieu fees; and 2) evaluating the financial feasibility of a full range of residential product types and the influence that affordable housing requirements have on financial feasibility.

We employ our real estate expertise to adapt new or revised programs to local market conditions and policy objectives. Ensuring the financial feasibility of programs is a cornerstone of our approach to inclusionary assignments. KMA avoids the “one size fits all” approach and works with communities to design programs that are appropriate for a particular jurisdiction.
