KMA’s Julie Romey Joining CAL-ALHFA Annual Conference

The CAL-ALHFA Annual Conference is taking place on May 9th in Downtown Sacramento, at the Golden State Finance Authority’s headquarters.   The event’s theme this year is TEAMWORK- IT WORKS!   KMA’s Julie Romey is pleased to be participating on a panel “Putting Together a Winning Team and Writing Winning Applications”.

Per the event information – This panel will engage the audience with a behind-the-scenes look at how local agencies put together winning applications and get them across the finish line; how they balance the many (and often contradictory) needs of the many team members while protecting the interests of the project and the local agencies; and how the city of Anaheim’s housing and community development department leverages its resources, builds great properties, and protects the department and the projects over time. Ample time will be reserved for questions and comments from the audience, who are encouraged to brainstorm their own projects with the panel.

CAL-ALHFA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development and preservation of all types of affordable housing, with an emphasis on working with smaller local agencies who often lack the personnel and resources to meet their affordable housing goals.   KMA is proud of our affiliation with CAL-ALHFA, as well our long-term client relationship with the City of Anaheim.
